Bailey has had a strong passion for dance since the age of 3, dancing at CSOD for 15 years. She has trained in various styles of dance including lyrical, jazz, contemporary, ballet, tap, acro, musical theatre, pointe, and more. Her teaching career started as an assistant with Tiffany 10 years ago. Bailey has now had the privilege of teaching dance for 7 years in various locations in the area. Throughout Bailey’s dance career, she has received various overall and special awards at multiple dance competitions across Ontario, including her latest accomplishment of receiving third overall in the varsity duet/trio category this past year at Terpsichore Canada. Bailey graduated from Mohawk College in 2017 with a diploma in Recreation Therapy. She then transferred to Brock University where she not only competed but choreographed award-winning routines with the Brock Dance Competitive Team at multiple competitions across Ontario, including being featured in the "Best of UDC" for her co-choreographed lyrical small group. After graduating from Brock University with a degree in Therapeutic Recreation in the fall of 2019, Bailey spent a year teaching preschool classes and working with people with disabilities, while continuing to peruse her dance teaching career as well as keeping up with her own dance career, taking a variety of dance workshops in multiple styles. This upcoming year, Bailey is completing her second and final year of the Bachelor of Education degree program in the Primary/ Junior Division at Redeemer University as she strives to teach kindergarten/ grade one in the near future. Bailey is very excited to continue to be a CSOD staff member this year and is looking forward to sharing her passion for dance with other dancers.
