Her passion for dance was born into her as she aspires to be like her grandfather, who danced through everyone’s hearts as a professional dancer during WWII. Hope has been dancing since the age of 6, and has also trained as a provincial level gymnast and power tumbler from the age of 5. She is trained in various forms of dance including jazz, ballet, contemporary, lyrical, modern, hip hop, musical theatre and acro. Hope has enjoyed pursuing her love of dance by taking dance workshops in New York City and Toronto, and has won many overall and special awards at various dance competitions throughout Ontario. She also pursued her dance career as a cheerleader for the Hamilton Nationals Major League Lacrosse team in 2012 and 2013. Hope now choreographs for young dancers at a competitive level, and has won overall high scores, special awards and choreography awards for a handful of her routines. Hope is extremely eager to continue to share her passion for dance with the students of Caledonia Studio of Dance.
