About Our Preschool Program

Our preschool program caters to children aged 2-4 years. 
Most times these classes are the first experience your child will have in a classroom setting, so we structure our program to have the essentials necessary to strive in an encouraging and educational atmosphere.

Our preschool classes have one Teacher and at least one assistant, to ensure every student receives the attention they require to succeed!

mini movers
2-3yrs

A movement class for toddlers who loves to wiggle and dance! Mini movers is a structured dance class that allows dancers to express movement through interactive songs and rhymes. This class is tailored to encourage imagination and creativity, while working on gross motor skills. Parents will be in the class during each session and are able to participate as well! A great introductory to the world of dance and movement! 

dance discovery
3-4yrs

Dance Discovery is a combination of Ballet, Hip  Hop, Jazz and Acro! This class is designed for dancers aged 3-4yrs, to introduce the world of dance through different styles and teaching methods. Our Dance Discovery classes include many sing along songs, props and equipment.

Technique, positions and exercises will be covered in Ballet as dancers develop poise, grace and confidence. Our preschool Ballet covers elements of dance, coordination, creativity and alignment

Hip Hop for tots! A fun, high energy class for dancers aged 3-4yrs, that helps develop a love of dance and appreciation for music.

An introduction to the magic of making music with your feet! Tap for ages 3-4 teaches young dancers basic rhythm, coordination, and timing through fun, age-appropriate movement. Using specially designed tap shoes, little ones will begin to explore beat and sound while developing listening skills, body awareness, and a love for this classic dance style. 

jazz

Ready for the next step? Jazz for age 4 is designed for dancers who have completed a year or two of Mini Movers or Dance Discovery and are ready to explore their first style-specific class. This class introduces foundational jazz technique — including turns, leaps, and musicality — in a fun, encouraging environment. Please note that Dance Discovery is a prerequisite for this class.

How much will my Preschooler get out of Dance Class

​1. Physical benefits - Children will develop fine and gross motor skills, faster muscular development, better posture, balance, and grace faster than the average child who is not in dance.

2. Mental benefits - Children who dance develop a sense of rhythm, timing, and the natural skill to pick up on complex concepts faster than others. They also tend to be more likely to work hard in school, and less likely to give up when encountering something difficult.

3. Lifetime preparation - Children learn important skills like teamwork, confidence, demonstrating in front of groups, body language, and response to cues.

$45 registration fee per family (includes a video of the Recital)

30 minute classes- $495 or 9 equal payments of $55
45 minute classes- $522 or 9 equal payments of $58
90 minute classes- $990 or 9 equal payments of $110
Prices include HST.
Monthly payments are due on the first of every month, September-May
