We are committed to professionalism and excellence in our classes, faculty, administration, annual performance, and general operations.
Our goal in the Assistant Teacher Training Program is to nurture a student's desire to teach.
With guidance from our Dance Instructors, we will help students to identify the different aspects involved in being a Dance Educator.
We are excited about this program for its ability to encourage and support our classes with the enthusiasm of students interested in the dynamics of becoming a good dance educator and are willing to volunteer their time in our work-study assisting program.
The program requires your participation in our1 day workshop
The Assistant Teacher Training Program (hereafter referred to as ATTP) is designed for students aged nine and up who have recognized within themselves a natural desire for teaching. You will be trained, evaluated and held accountable for showing progress in the qualities deemed necessary for effective teaching in all age groups.
You will be taught specifically what those qualities and skills are during the training classes held as well as some in-class shadowing during our preschool classes. If, at the end of the summer training program, we collectively assess your skill level and commitment to be less then satisfactory for continuing in our ATTP, we will make the necessary recommendations for future classes and training.
The ATTP Program will run July 22nd and August 1, 2024
The cost to participate in our ATTP Workshop is $25.
